Here are a few Q & A’s:
Will it really make a difference if I stage my home? |
Absolutely! First impressions are critical when buyers can
make a decision about a home in the first few minutes of
viewing it. Savvy highlight’s your homes best features,
through furniture editing, design elements, improving
condition items, and objectively seeing what to clean,
de-clutter, and depersonalize in the home. These elements
promote a faster sale for the highest price possible.
Can I stage my home myself?
In order to effectively stage a home, you need to be able to
see it objectively. That is not always possible when you
have emotional attachments to your belongings. Savvy will
look at your property with unbiased eyes to give you honest
feedback about what can be done to make your home as
appealing as possible to prospective buyers.
Can I stage my house after it’s listed?
Yes. While it is always better to stage your home prior to
putting it up for sale, you can certainly stage it after you
put it on the market. Be sure to have your realtor have an
open house after the staging to reintroduce it to other
realtors and prospective buyers. You’ll also want to change
your photos to our “after” photos in your marketing
materials. If it’s been on the market a while, DEFINITELY
stage your home before reducing the price!
Is there anything I have to do before my home can be staged? As
any realtor will tell you, there are certain things that
should be tackled prior to showings in order make the best
first impression. These same things should be done prior to
staging as well. During our consultation, we will let you
know what types of things you should do prior to the staging
day to maximize our time and yours.
